Cacco pays very special attention to the varnishing phase, to protect the windows with the very best primers containing Biocides, which block the development of mould.

The varnish is Transpiring, to let the wood "breathe", Thermoplastic, which means when there is an increase in temperature, it becomes flexible and follows the movement of the wood, and contains special UV filters and pigments that reflect the UV rays.

The upkeep of the window is simple and if it is performed regularly your window will remain attractive and functional for a long while to come:

CLEANING

The window frame should be cleaned (on the outside) at least every six months, cleaning the surface with a solution of water and washing-up liquid (being neutral and therefore does not damage the surface). Do not use alcohol or other aggressive cleaners.

ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

ADLER (suppliers to CACCO of fillers and varnish) has designed a special KIT for maintaining your window frames. The KIT contains a handbook that gives a simple and clear explanation of all the maintenance work and materials that are needed. The KIT contains ADLER TOP FINISH, a liquid resin that is applied with a soft cloth to the varnished surfaces every six months, which regenerates the film of varnish and keeps it intact and perfect for a long time.
